Securing Land And Opportunities For Women In The DRC

Women Rising Legacy Project provides secure land tenure and opportunities and support for women of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to create sustainable lives for themselves and their families.

Women Rising is part of the solution to the life-threatening challenges faced by women and children of the world’s poorest country. Governed by the women it serves, Women Rising purchases land, makes it safe for women to farm there, and provides the means to establish food-based enterprises on this land. Women Rising is a community and a pathway for women of the DR Congo to forge a new destiny for themselves and their sisters.
